My S205 has been giving me some issues. I am getting almost NO bucket lift or tilt power as well as Low Charge pressure codes.
When I would display system vitals on the screen, it showed charge pressures of around 160psi BUT if I tried to lift up the bucket, they would drop into the 50's.
When opening up the GOLD filters (the ones next to drive motors) it revealed METAL in the filter HOWEVER, the metal was on BOTH SIDES of the filter. Due to seeing this, we removed one of the drive motors to see if it had anything to do with that and it appears the drive motors are all good. I do plan to put a new SEAL kit in the drive motors though since I have them apart.
What should my next steps be to address this metal in the hydraulic lines? Could it be a gear pump even though I only have just a little over 2,000 hours???
What else should I be taking apart and flushing to attempt to get all metal out if possible? Biggest question of course is does anybody have any idea where the metal might be coming from?
I am attaching a photo of the metal chips on my finger. You can see they are BIG PIECES, not just little fragments that are mixed in with the oil. That particular piece was actually DOUBLE the size, and I broke it in half. There was LOTS of pieces. Very concerning obviously.
Thoughts?
Thank you!
