2005 773 stops generating

for some reason when i activate controls my battery indicator light turn on. when i lift the seat bar it turns off again and does not turn on until i activat controls again

I would check the fuess. If the alt/kit fuse is blown, the alternator will not get 12 volts to start charging. If the fuse is blown and the alternator is not charging, if the engine is reved up, the alt will self excite and charge like normal. If you just putt around, the battery light will come. Thats the where I would start, I never saw one doing exactly what you got.
