2004 bobcat 220 hydraulic pressure release

On the front auxiliary hydraulics, how do you release the pressure so that you can get the hose off? Please help... need tomorrow. I pushed the release button in the cab. I pushed the hose it to release it. The top hose comes off... the bottom does not... thank you for your help

If you can't push the coupler in enough to release the pressure, you probably have the system dead headed. Start the machine and bump the aux backwards. That should release pressure. Other then that, crack a line to release it.

Some times the couplers can be really tight due to pressure in the line. Depending on what you are running, you can give it a quick flick the opposite way before shutting down to equalize the pressure in the lines.

if you pushed the coupler in to release the pressure, check the sleeve on the coupler that you push back to release it. I think there's a small ball that needs to line up and if the sleeve gets twisted it won't push back to release.
