2004/05 Cat 216b fuel shut off solenoid

Having trouble with my fuel shut off solenoid. Cat 216b. was blowing fuses so replaced solenoid. All was good.....for awhile. (3/4 months) Now it starts....Now It doesn't start. never know. Both (old and new) solenoids work at times. Doesn't matter hot or cold,start no start. Never know. any ideas? Thanks Jack [email protected] PS Love my Cat just need to fix it

Ended up being I think it is called a suppressor. Was only sending 5 volts to the solenoid. Fixed for now Jack

Not sure what that is either, but good to hear it was something simple.
