2000 751 Skidsteer - how to remove the axle sleeve

Skidsteer Forum - Bobcat, New Holland, Case, John Deere

Help Support Skidsteer:

While there isn't a 751 book in the manual thread, there is a 753 that will probably be close enough as I doubt that they changed the architecture that much.
There is a parts manual for both there, or you could use the online bobcat parts site to compare any differences. Chances are there will be way more similarities than differences.

sorry Wife posted the wrong question. Need to know how to remove the actual front axle shaft on 2000 751 skidsteer. I have the 751 manual and tried what they said. I tried a 10 Ton ram but it did work. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. TIA.

Are you trying to pull the entire axle or just the axle hub?
The hub, loosen the bolt and use two hydraulic jacks, one per side of the hub. Pump them up and then strike the bolt head with a big hammer, it should break the taper seal.
