I have a 1999 Bobcat 863 with hand controls and I recently replaced seal on actuator and now the bucket will not lift and tilt. There is a blinking light on the hand control and the book states "Actuator not calibrated". How is the actuator calibrated?

This is how it is done on my A300m

With the machine off:
Hold the right joystick all the way up and to the right
Press “RUN/ENTER” (if you have a lock code, enter it here)
Press “PRESS TO OPERATE”
Release joystick.
You should hear the actuator moving.

You should get a couple of codes after like 3810, 3224, 3806, 3808. My operators manual actually show the wrong codes so you will have to check the codes that you get.

Thank you for the reply brdgbldr, I dont' have the display on my model and no entry for lock code, just the blinking for trouble codes on the hand controls. I only have the green button for the lockout.

See if you can find a maintanence manual for your machine. It should have the procedure in it. I’m not sure if the operators manual would have that in it or not.
