I accidentally bypassed the resistors in the wiring beneath the seat attached to the seat button.
When I started it, it revved super high then killed. I figured out the issue then tried using again and now it barely runs and engine oil pressure comes on while idling due to the low power. Did I cause a short in wiring somewhere or is it a different issue entirely?

What could possibly have caused the motor to not
function did I mess up all of the electrical on it from this mistake?

I know I'm an idiot lol any help is appreciated

Unlikely to have created problem. Sounds more choke or fuel related. -stef
I OHM tested the potentiometer attached to the throttle and it had no current so think I may have figured it out! The potentiometer is sending nothing back to the carb from the throttle
