Found a small metal sleeve in the 25 micron filter when changing the hydraulic oil. Could anyone point in the right direction to start trouble shooting? It is 3/8" diameter and 3/8" in length.
Had a decrease in hydraulic pressure on the lift and tilt while running in cold weather. Inspected the oil and found water contamination. Removed the oil and filters for an oil change and found the sleeve sitting on the top portion of the 25 micron filter. There were no grinding or other abnormal sounds during operation. Was thinking it might be a bearing sleeve from one of the pumps but didn't want to pull the engine for access until I had an idea of how big of a job it would be to repair.
