Can't get my lift arms to float, I have replaced the detent balls and cover, pedal goes to float position but dead heads pump. Does pedal lock in float or do you have to hold it down. Can the down speed control act like check valve. I really don't want to take the hole valve body apart but if I have to ! Any ideas would be good thanks all. Matt

If the balls and springs are all in place and the spool has full travel it should certainly stay in as long as the linkage is not binding on a hose or something like that.

Might just need a bit of ajustment for the pedal travel

Had one the aux would not go into detent because of one of the big hoses interfering, you may need a helper to work the pedal while you watch what is going on.
