Hello. I am trying to fix our skid steer. It is a newer 1840 uni-loader . The problem is- when the motor is running the machine wants to turn and there is no control or no finding neutral. I am very new to skid steers . Please send some feedback if you can- i will greatly appreciate any comments . Sincerely, Ford

The post below for the bobcat saying creeps forward sounds like the problem as well. In order to stop the machine from turning and park we have to turn the key off / kill engine.

I thought there should be an adjustment at the pump to set neutral. If it creeps and the brake is on, it will kill the engine (as you have found out).
Should be pretty simple to do, but you will need to block the loader so the wheels are off the ground so you know when it's set right.
