I have an 1835B case skid steer that was running fine until I smashed the control panel and had replace the ignition switch and hour meter. Now in order for it to start I must give it a shot of ether. This is the 188 diesel engine. I hear the fuel shut off solenoid clicking, so I believe it is functioning properly. This is my first skid steer, and I have learned a lot over the past few years, rebuilding Drive motors, and the rh drive hydraulic pump. It will crank and no start until a shot of ether. Then picks up and seems to run fine. Shut it off and it will not start until another shot of ether. Any knowledge will be greatly appreciated.
