What chains are supposed to be in my 1835B? The reason I am asking is the chains appear to be rubbing the seal in the end of the wheel motors. Is the double sprocket self aligning on the shaft? I have the wheel motor out and if I slide the sprocket onto the shaft and put a chain on it the chain sits on the motor snout. It does still have the old style milled splines on the shaft.

Chains are 60H. If they are hitting the motor housing there is a wear problem or a shim missing on the motor sprocket. I have seen motor sprockets wear to the point of needing replacement. I think a lot of chain and sprocket problems on these machines come from not keeping good oil in the chain case. They are prone to moisture intrusion.
