Hello all, Recently discovered that the Onan in my 1816 is pretty shot, and while I have read lots of talk about repowering them, I haven't came across anyone with an actual photo progress thread. I was considering a Predator engine, due to the fact I paid way too much already for a machine with a bad engine, and a leaky torqmotor. Anyhow, I'm not too sure about Predator engine quality. Part of me is considering going full retard, and making this thing all nice again, chains, sprockets, and a 22-25hp Kohler Command or something. Say I was to go with a better quality engine, anyone by chance have any recommendations? Thank you.
