I just recently purchased a 07 case 420 with the shibaura 2.2 n844t engine that was over heated. I plan on pulling the engine and rebuilding as I got it super cheap. The head is cracked and I'm having a hard time finding a head. The head on thr machine is a p530. Is there any place to look to see which heads are interchangeable? I found a head from a new Holland 220 n4ldi engine with a head stamp of p560. Does anyone no if it is interchangeable? The alignment pins are off which can be pulled the injectors are different and the pistons are cups for the injectors. Mine has the precombustion changers where the other head (p560 does not) will it work? Thanks austin

right off hand I would guess no, you would be increasing the compression ratio and is there going to be a interference from the pistons to the different head and injectors? If the rods and crank were the same maybe change pistons out to match the head. I would keep looking for a direct replacement. do overs suck.
