Well I'm brand new to this site, and somewhat new to landscaping, and I have a small problem. I rented my skid to a golf course and got the "call". The right side undercarrage snapped and wedged up into the jackshaft, Blew an idler, tensionless track etc. question is. Is there a "nuteral position" on the drive so I can winch it up a flat deck and get her home to fix? The carnage is pretty awesome, as soon as I figure out how to post pictures you'll laugh too.

As far as i'm aware there is no neutral so you can drag the machine. The motors will be full of oil so they will resist rolling... You really need to use brute force to drag it onto the truck.

If all went well, you could also pull the cover off the final drive and pull out the sun gear, it's the only way to move a dead excavator.
