I am trying to find a Grouser steel track adjustment kit. A guy was building them several years ago. Had two metal clamps that bolted to each track then had a long bolt that tightened to connect the bolts. The strap and ratchet that came with tracks are difficult to use. Could have one built if I had the dimensions.

Have you used these on Grouser track? Finally got my tracks back on with help of several friends a broken racket strap and lots of grunting and sweat. Will order this kit and see if I need to modify the fingers.

Here are a couple of tricks to get tracks on, in case you didn't know.
Use the ratchet strap on the underside of the track. This will lift the loose part of the track up as you bolt them together.
If the tracks are already the proper length, lower the tire pressure to give the track a little more slack and reinforce after installed.

I did, on actual Grouser brand tracks, although the fingers need lengthened, they don't go all the way around to lock on. Had to hold it in place until there was enough tension for it to stay. Too make it easier you can jack that side of the skid steer off of the ground. It makes getting the slack out much easier.
