I removed the alternator and had is checked. Auto parts store said it was fine. I may have reversed the two wires when I connected it back. Thanks--my son and I replaced the smaller in-line filter and that seems to halp a lot. We ordered the screw-on second filter and are anxious to see if that clears up the problem totally. The smaller fileter was really bad and I am sure it restricted fuel badly. gc

Our 4840 starts running extremely bad and will not hardly pull itself after operating it 20 minutes or so. Temp does not seem high. Any ideas? If I am advised to change ruel filters can someone guide me as to where and how many filters there are? Thanks

One last question----------will it harm the solonoid depending on which terminal I connect red or black? In other words can I screw it up and connect backwards?
