There is no adjuster for chain tension. I've been in there and I don't understand why Bobcat didn't provide a way to adjust chain tension.

Great progress! I know there's a lot of work ahead, but I'd say you're defiantly over the hump.

I replaced one bearing, but the races were in good shape. I'd bet there is a good tool for that, but I've never researched it.

Considering the amount of work it took to get to this point, I'd probably pull all the axles and inspect them. Even if they look good, you know you'll sleep better knowing everything is right. I used a chain breaker. I ordered a holder & breaker kit that worked great for me...

It's been a while, but I think mine pulled apart with no problem after I got the 4 bolts out. I worked on the side of the pump that connects to the engine. I'm not sure if the opposite side is different. I looked through the service manual, but it is pretty light on details about that pump...

I don't think mine has a drain. Wes from Watch Wes Work on Youtube uses a suction pump that works really good to get all that oil out. You could get by with a hand pump like they use for gear oil but it's going to take a while. Why would a manufacturer not put a drain there? All I can think...

I've never had the front portion of that pump apart. The back section I took apart uses a gasket that is pressed steel almost like a head gasket, but I don't see anything like that for the front. I'm looking at the diagram too and I agree, it looks like an o-ring is the only thing needed. I...

I just heard from a commenter on the video where I fixed the leak on the steering shaft that there is an easier fix than my method. He said you can dig out those o-rings with a pick from the outside. That would have saved me a lot of work removing the engine to get to that valve. Even if you...

You are correct. The brake block is bolted to the underside of that plate. See the item labeled caliper assembly below. I don't remember if there was enough clearance to get the plate off with the caliper attached. You may need to unbolt the caliper from the plate first.

Yikes! I though it was cramped working on my machine. I know these are compact machines, but I wish the design engineers had to spend a little time working on them so they would think about better access for servicing.

I was lucky because mine popped off without a struggle. WD40 and some heat might be needed to get it to go. You should be able to get a pry bar under it to help bust it loose. A couple firm raps from a hammer on top of the arm to shock it might help too.

I got mine on Amazon from a seller called Maple Ace. I checked and they don't have it available right now. There are other sellers out there with that chain though. Mine was 60H with 3/4" pitch. You should check to make sure yours is the same. I ordered two 10ft lengths and cut them to fit...

530 Bobcat Clark - key turned - no power whatsoever

Might be a long shot, but check the round multi-pin connector between the machine and the roll cage. When that gets disconnected, you'll have what looks like a completely dead system. I've accidentally disconnected mine a couple times while I was putting the seat pan back in place.

    520 oil leaks

The service manual for the 520, 530 and 533 calls for 10W-40 SE for the hydraulic system. They recommend going to 5W-30 when the starting temp is below -10F. I've always had my 530 in a garage heated to 45F in the winter, so I can't comment on how the hydraulics sound or behave when starting...

    520 oil leaks

I've posted a bunch of my repairs on my YouTube channel (The Toolman). I understand even a thorough cleaning might be a big deal. You might be able to get by with reaching in and wiping down any suspect components you can reach. Then refill the hydraulic oil, grab a really good flashlight and...
