In your first picture under the round plug at about 5 o'clock- is that a plastic cover over a pipe plug? Mine has a 45° 3/8 pipe elbow with a hex plug in it to fill the oil.
Good luck with it. I agree it's a warmer weather job. In the meantime some new clean fuses and some electrical contact cleaner may be your best friends.
Be sure the lockdown bolt is tight. It should be set at #1 TDC from the pump shop. Then be sure you have your motor at #1 TDC on compression stroke. Then, be sure to wipe the pump shaft and the inside of the drive gear with starting fluid. You want it completely clean and dry. Put your pump on...
Before the problem started-when the seatbelt and parking brake light were on would it not move and the boom would not operate? I'm not a John Deere guy but if it started moving with the lights on I'd get a test light and see if there was power going to the park brake solenoid. It shouldn't move...
Hello- I'm looking for a used running engine for an LX 885. It looks like the old 3 cylinder 201 they used in Ford tractors for years but this one is turbocharged. Anyone have anything? Thanks!
Got a 334G ser. 234514534 that the high speed stopped working. I checked the 2 speed button and it's good. The controller 2 speed icon doesn't come on now either. I swapped a known good controller board and still nothing. I have no voltage at the 2 speed solenoid in the valve bank either. Any...
I assume the boom is inoperative as well? Unplug the EIC and turn the wiring harness around and look for pin 8. Unplug the brake coil Put 12 volts to it and see if the voltage makes it to the plug that plugs to the coil. if it does then I suspect the EIC is bad. If not start looking for a...
Hello all- Looking for some help. I have a 297C serial GCP01641 that the boom and bucket function has stopped suddenly. A cylinder symbol that usually goes off when you release the brake now stays on. It will drive and steer normally but no boom or bucket. I believe it to be an electrical issue...
Does it turn over if the service/run switch is in either position? If it does you need to chase the harness from the injector pump to the back side of the motor-there's a plug there to connect to the engine harness. Unplug it and turn the key on after you jump out the seat and seat belt switch...
The plug itself isn't your issue. I wanted you to unplug it and determine if there's 12 volts coming in to feed the seat and seat belt switch. With no power coming in it won't unlock the hydraulics. Check voltage again at the plug-you need to know for sure what you have there.
You need to check the plug that the seat belt and seat switch go to and see if there's voltage on one leg of it. If there's no power start with the fuses behind the cab.
Hello-I have to pull the engine to replace a leaking oil pan. Has anyone done this without pulling the hydraulic pumps and all of the stuff associated with it? The manual says pull it as an assembly but it also says pull the tracks off as well. I pulled a T770 engine a while back and managed to...
Is what you're calling the auxiliary solenoid the little short one on the far left sitting in the seat looking down? If so jumping that out makes the machine think the auxiliary hydraulics are applied and the tractor won't turn over. There's a small wiring harness that goes to the solenoids on...
