I’m still bugged out on how hard it is to find pins.

For the time being I took off the mushroomed edge with a bench grinder. I got the pin to seat all the way and the lock bolt in place. It was a lot harder to put it back in than I thought.

When I purchased my used Thomas 205 skids steer it came with a damaged pin. It was mushroomed from someone hitting it with a hammer to push it back into place. I have since replaced the grease fitting and have tried to push the pin back into position for the lock bolt. I haven’t been able to do...

As an update. I spot welded the metal spring back on. I melted part of it but I think I have enough to hold it together for some time. I didn’t see a part number on it. Which sucks.

I’m looking for a 205 parking brake safety switch. Do you know where I can find one

Thomas 205 parking brake/safety switch broke this morning. Doses anyone know where I can get one? I could try to spot weld it, but I’m afraid I’ll totally breake it.

Even in the summer the grapple sometimes won’t work. If I have to toggle switch as I’m raising and lowering the boom or curling, And the grapple flow starts up again. It’ll stay like that for a good while. But if I stop using the grapple for 30 minutes I’ll have to jiggle the other functions to...

I have a electric rocker switch on my left drive lever.

This is my fist skid steer. I noticed the grapple won’t open or close in cold weather. Hi 30s and down. After I run it a good while it will start working again. Is it just a matter of warming up. Or a sign of things to come?

Update. I saw the radiator cap gasket was crackin. So I put a new cap on. The fan belt looked to have 6” of play. I tightened that. The amount of air flow out the back when up ten fold. In the end, it hasn’t blown out any coollent since. I’ll post agin if the problem returns. Summer is still ahead.

It’s boiling over. The light never can on. The radiator is clean. Fan runs when the machine is running. It took hour and a half to over heat at 70 degrees.

My 205 is over heating. It has 1,600 hours. Does any one know where to start?
