I think it is great to see Bobcat or any manufacturer to give powerplant options. EFI solves so many problems with gas motors. Would be nice to see a propane option as well. Having to admit I am a fan of E85 and mix it in my daily drivers. Regards, Sam

Interesting topic. Was the motor mounted sideways to belt drive the pump. Or did he redo the plumbing and mounted the motor inline like a 743? Since you heard it run how jerky did it move? The Ditch Witch machines with V8's are just for show and are not really functional. Lame in my opinion...

I only have heard good things about Thomas. I Prefer a simpler machine. Kinda think other brands are making skid steers way to complicated. When time comes for me to purchase a new skid steer. I WILL give them a call. Have a nice day. Sam

You can buy Attachment plates for Bobctach to 3pt. This way you can use your box blade with both machines. I am looking to put a box blade on my 743B.

My 743B has a 2203.

Monte The Deutz engines BC used ran timing belts that had to be replaced every 1000 hours. Might be worth looking into. They also said the ran circles around the Kubota engines ;) I wish I could help you more. Have a nice day. Sam

Had a friend come over got all the zerks taking grease. Checked chaincase oil had water in it. This machine sat a good while so I am guessing water leaked in. Going to change chaincase oil. Is there any tricks? James said let it drain for a few days. I am going to use AW 68. hyd oil. Thank You

I am replacing all the zerks with new ones. I was told heating the joints with the zerks out would help taking new grease. This sure has been a learning experience. Thank You
