Glad to see this 610 back in uses. Had a 610 for 14 years until I bought my S250. I used dirt buckets, pallet forks(home made) land plane, bale spear and rock bucket on it. Granted I couldn't lift allot but when that's all you have then you make due.. I added weights(JD garden tractor weights)...
When I talked to my dealer they said there was 2 seals and a speedy-sleeve in the kit. This is the good part about this seal leaking when I sold this 610 3 years ago it was just starting to leak because my daughter was cleaning out the house building and got twine rapped around this axle and it...
After having this same 610 for 14 years and not having much trouble then selling it after getting my S 250 I'm getting it back for less then 1/3 I sold it for!! WOO HOO!! The left rear axle seal is leaking and my local dealer whats over $800 plus parts so this is a DIY project. Just a little...
When you say recovery are you talking the overflow tank? If the radiator is a brass and copper radiator not a plastic and alum, Yes the filler neck can be replaced with a overflow tube. The problem would be finding a home for the tank.
SORRY right up front! Do yourself a favor and DO NOT blast air into a heater core! The coolant system is no more then 16 PSI and even if you have both ends open you could get more then that in the core! I have a Radiator shop and I would take both hoses off the motor and flush with a garden hose...
I ran my 610 for 15 years and like everyone said the ROPS is a must! I never had anything trying to sit in my lap but I had many thing smack the cage. On the running rough, if it sits outside there could be water in the cap. A tune-up could take care of the rough running very easy.. The 610 is a...
Ok I have to add my 2 cents in here. I'm 6'8" tall and have ran a 753 with no problems. My 1st loader was a 610 that I used for 16 years. Unless you have ankle problems I think you should try it or do like Tazza said and clean it up and buy a diff machine. I know guys that have the loaders with...
My 250 don't have a weight kit, but I lifted some pallets that where weighed and they ran from 2750 to 3120 picked them up and didn't get tippy! I also had a 500 gal barrel that I cut the end out of and filled 3/4 the way up with small junk iron and it weighted 4200 that was just starting to get...
That seems like a good deal on a S220 $11500 ! WOW!! I bought a 2005 S250 with 1611 hours on it and got new tires, bucket, bolt on cutting edge, radio and new manual for $22500 It has the gold package. Good luck with your new machine. Rick
If all the doors are the same then I have something else to bring up! I have a friend that has a S185 its a 2004 and I have a S250 its a 2006, both are gold package loaders but the door on his has 2 things different then mine. The close handle is longer and the door latch is different. Its the...
My local dealer told me to buy the S250, add the weight kit and turn up the pump then its a 300. I have had my 250 for 6 months and its a monster! Well don't laugh my first/last skid loader was a 610. The 2 loaders I looked at were S300 and S250 saved 2500 and got the 250. Rick
