i'll check the stops...i took the cylinder to our local bobcat and he had it straightened 20.00 which was much better than 200.00 for a new shaft or 600.00 for a new cylinder!!!! i put it back in and finished putting oil in the res started it up and the tilt worked yay i must have air in the...

Mine isnt bent quite that bad....it does have a little wear where it hooks to the bobtach.

after reading my post it sounded like i thought imight of bent the rod taking it out ....thats not what i meant....i meant when i was using it...lol

i was wondering if my backhoe could of bent it somehow? i guess it could of been like that when i got it just didnt notice it.

wellllllll it's been a good day.......not... i got the cap off after i pretty much wrecked it with a pipe wrench. it was harder than @#$% all the way until the last 2 threads then i could use my hands...so i pull the pin back out (i put it back on the loader like Ken Said..would of never got it...

Tazza i found your eariler post on the cylinder rebuild .i cant get the cap off .where the rod comes out of the cap the seal(or whatever it is) is twisted maybe thats what is making it so hard to turn off? they are right handed threads right?Thanks

can anyone tell me how to get the tilt cylinder apart i thought you would have to unscrew the cap i dont have anything in the manual about it ,figured it would be pretty much like an air cylinder and i've rebuilt quite a few of them,just didnt wanna be cranking too hard on the cap.any help would...

yup its the one that the bolt goes thru

its not the one under the pump,its the foot pedal linkage that connects to the bar that goes under the pump.:-)
