Well, not quite of woods yet. got the bearings in finally, but trying to see if I want to tackle the job or get someone, do those bearings races need to be pressed by a machine or can they be done by basic tools onsite like the bearings for trailers etc?
Turned out to be worn sprocket bearing on front right sprocket gear. Actually, the sprocket that gets the power from the drive gear. The bearings had gotten loose enough that the chain binded/broke a link and fell off. Thanks for ur suggestion though. Seems like these bearings go out often on...
I need to try that out. I'm still learning bout this machine, I do have full owners and service manual, so i'll check that out. Are they the ones that have little plastic red caps at the end of one side and the two wire terminals sticking out of the top of the cylinder top part?
