    I bought an L555 basket case, I am ready to install the engine. Is it a good idea to install the engine with the hydraulic pump attached or should I install the pumps first?

    Good morning, I am a new member and the proud (???) owner of a New Holland L555 with a Perkins 4.108 engine. The man who sold the machine to me had started to restore it, so it is in pieces. I am currently rebuilding the engine and then will be digging into the hydraulics and the controls.
