You could probably weld them up, they may have been recalled buckets. Bobcat makes you cut part of the bucket off and take a picture to prove you destroyed the bucket. Buth the ones that I have seen they usuall cut the lug off that you are talking about.

Should work, I have run 331 buckets on a 337. The 337 buckets are heavier duty.

I have seen a 743 with a well used set of 12's and it comes very close to rubbing the boom arms.
