Small machine suggestions. Max machine width 40", speedy (6 kph/4 mph or more), good side slope ability, wider mower/rotary cutter, snowblower, etc.

I didn't think of boulders, so I see the issue there. Too bad the trail association doesn't. I guess the alternative would be for the obstructionist to have to clear the trail a couple of times a month with string trimmers. I bet they'd start to see the benefit of machine access REAL soon. :)

You don't have to use all 60" on the way back. I did just run through mine with a 72" disc mulcher, but that was just to get all the down trees from the winter. You have any way to make a "secret bypass" to get your bigger machine in and out? I'll assume you either have a gate or balusters...

    Hydraulic lines to grapple

Looks like those lines are unnecessarily way too long. You can also mount a hydraulic hose holder on the grapple frame to keep the hose from dropping down. Here are a few options:

    Wood chipper case line

I would see where the factory installed case drain gets installed and try to mimic that. You will also see the debate about where to install it in relation to the filter. Your dealer should have the schematics.

can I run a New Holland snowblower on a Bobcat T770 skidsteer

Did it not come with the 14 pin, which plugs into the 8 position plug? There aren't 8 pin plugs on a New Holland skid steer. Almost every attachment I have has an intermediate plug that connects to the standard (except, of course BobCat) 14 pin Bosch connector.

can I run a New Holland snowblower on a Bobcat T770 skidsteer

Ok, I did some more research and it looks like your blower is made by FFC. If you don't have the 14 pin connector (should've come with the blower) then SS Genius does sell this, which will get you to the 14 pin and then you can buy their box to go from BobCat to the 14 pin...

can I run a New Holland snowblower on a Bobcat T770 skidsteer

Are you adapting a tractor mounted snow blower to use on skid steer or was this a skid steer? If, so, I'm positive you need to change the plug to a 14 pin and then buy the box from SS Genius. You will have to figure out the functions of each wire. SS Genius should have a wiring diagram for...

can I run a New Holland snowblower on a Bobcat T770 skidsteer

Unfortunately, you are running into the main reason that I'll never buy a BobCat. Their decision to use CANBUS to control their attachments is a non-starter and a slap in their consumers' faces. Every other machine will easily run that blower. I'm surprised that SS Genius couldn't help...

I am looking at a Case SR220. It has 5000 hrs. on it. Sounds and runs good. What are your thoughts on this machine

Big difference in buying someone else's 5000 hours and putting your own hours on the machine too. Like you mentioned, no one will ever know what that machine went through. New engine is a huge mitigation on those high hours. If the OP said this machine he is looking at had a new engine, then...

That is a TON of hours IMO. For comparison, that would approximate over 200,000 miles on most vehicles. I'd pass just on the hours. Definitely find a good mechanic to look it over, preferably the guy you are going have working on it.

    Takeuchi good or bad

So, the OP posted the question in 2007, guessing he should've come back and told us what he ended up buying. But, since the resurrection has generated new traffic, I have been very happy with my TL12v2. No paint issues, but mine is a 2022, so maybe they made some changes. Engines are mostly...

I don't really understand your desire to mow wider than the restrictions on the trail. It sounds like you can't getting anything wider than what fits through the boulders, so I'd just let the entire trail remain at that width. I have a similar situation, although mine is wider. My narrowest...
