Welding on bucket while attached to my bobcat

well as dumb luck has it, I ended up finding this out today! I was looking over my skid steer and noticed my rear door over radiator, the hinge weld was broken about a 4 inch crack down it(guess I backed into something harder than I thought this winter) and there is only one hinge holding...

    eBay cylinders

I think you have to check the seller, and NOT EBAY, ebay doesn't make anything I know of or sell anything, its private sellers that advertise on there, and they can be from any where in the world too, so you got to look at sellers reviews and or brand there selling!

Welding on bucket while attached to my bobcat

MY 2 cents and no expert by any means but I know a few guys that have welded on there machines, and all they did was disconnect the battery, and they seem to be fine doing this But I would gather there is always some risk involved with welding on things that have electronics's on them you...

    Engine Oil Leak

well on many of these older machines, they use Motor oil in both systems(10w/30) , motor/engine, pending what one prefers to call it,(HAHA) and hydraulic system, so fluid leaking would be the same, minus if you added dye to one,. t ? NOW< if someone altered things and started using Hydraulic...

    Handicap access

I know this maybe isn't an option, but have you maybe thought of trading your machine in for one with a side door? as a side door model is way more user friendly when you have disability issues, or can be , pending what all issues you have , and be a lot easier than trying to modify a basic...

    Engine Oil Leak

add some oil dye to one or the other and see if it shows up leaking out! they sell it at most larger chain auto parts stores!

    Chain Case Access

I've used a shop vac and just reduced things to a small hose, worked pretty good or what it is you can also flush things some with some diesel fuel too, just be careful!

    Gear oil milky..easy to change?

oil vacuums do work, but they do not allow a complete drain as removing an oil drain plug will, and with water being heavier than oil, that means water can still lay on bottom as well as cling to sides and other internals,, and why when you get water into an oil cavity, you really want to drain...

873 bobcat whining when going forward and reverse

ok, is it burning oil, or loosing it some other way/ as if its burning thru a half gallon a day, you have serious engine issues, and that is most likely your problem! higher RPMS mean faster heat builds, thus, why its loosing power as it gets hotter, a gain a sign of low compression,, and...

    Changing a wiring harness

It sounds to me like there is known problem here with the seat safety and wiring why now just back track these wires and find where its shorting, my guess is a mouse chewed thru some place and its rubbing and causing short rather than re wiring a whole new harness in! if you go to most any...

873 bobcat whining when going forward and reverse

OK since I was typing when your last post, if your tank is full, at correct level this sounds more to me like its an engine issue and I am guessing low compression I'd suggest doing a compression test , I'd also be checking your motor oil and radiator for signs of coolant in motor oil and or...

873 bobcat whining when going forward and reverse

OK< thanks for more info, , the more info you give us, the better we can try to help you first off the chain case, is oil for your drive chains(there is one case one each side) this has nothing to do with your hydraulic system(unless they share the same fluid(not sure on your exact model< but...

873 bobcat whining when going forward and reverse

is is loosing power at motor, or in hydraulic? is the hydraulic fluid low? are you running enough throttle to build correct amount of pressure to move things, skid steers are pretty much designed to run full throttle, not low rpms and lugging to do things you need higher rpms to build...

    Gear oil milky..easy to change?

first off welcome to the site, but this is a rather OLD tread and you might be better off starting a new one asking questions you have, to get more folks to view it and help you as for suggestions, I would highly recommend you get yourself a real service manual for your machine, and then...

I have a T300 bobcat when I hook up my brush cutter it works ok for about 2 minuets then the general warning light comes on and the brush cutter stops

also how many hours are on this machine, as things do wear out, as if your saying it worked fine for you and suddenly now having issues, maybe a pump or seal/or leak some place is starting to cause issue!
