    help with 3pt adaptor

Thanks Ken for the heads up. I bought a Harborfreight quick hitch for $69.00 and I put it together on a flat SS backing plate to use any 3 point tractor implement on my SS. Here is HF link http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=93691 I bolted mine for now but I will...

    Anyone built a Landplane?

Dennis, It does a great job, the only thing I would do is to add more spikes/teeth to cover more ground, right now they are too far apart. It will level and smooth rough land fast and when I built this, I was pulling with a Chevy S-10 and it works great and I use a Case 1845 C now and it does...

    Case 1845 park brake

Frank, my 1845 C has a small cable attached to the right safety arm, the one you lift to get out and yours may just be out of adjustment or rusted. It shouldn't much if yours has that cable, its about 1/8 “ or less in size And yes Ken I'm alright LOL Jim

    case 1845c

I have a 1845 C and I am new at this also, could you have a lever adjustment out? or a leaking hose? Take your seat off and the pedal assembly and look at what don't move, its easy ..I would call your local Case dealer and as the guys in the service or bring a box of donuts and talk live Jim

    Anyone built a Landplane?

I've thought about it but I made a spike harrow instead, its a 1 inch re-bar frame with lots of 1/2 in re-bar hanging down and it will level a lot in no time and pull lots of small brush. I tried the chain link fence thing and that was like pulling a blanket, it did nothing as far as leveling or...
