Hi all, I've got an old Bobcat 641. It seems that the hydraulic pump has given out. I took it apart and there are grooves in the back housing. I was told that this was the cause of it's poor performance My question is: can I machine the grooves out OR do I have to buy a new pump ($1000+)?
Hi all, I had to patch up the hydraulic reservoir tank with welds because of fluid leaks.My bobcat has had the hydraulic fluid replaced twice, but the fluid is still milky. The tilt and lift are very weak. There are no visible hydraulic leaks anymore. What could be causing the milky fluid??
so tried seeing if the aux hydraulics were on. No difference was noted. One thing that I have noticed is that the more I try to make it lift, the harder it becomes. Could this be an issue with the filter on the port block?
Hi there, I recently bought an old bobcat 641 for $1000. It had been sitting for at least 10'yrs. So far, I've : -rebuilt lift cylinders -rebuilt tilt cylinder - repaired leak in oil cooler - replaced 1 dry rotted hydraulic line . The bobcat drives fine ( a little jerky). The tilt seems to work...
