    OMC 1200 Belt

I looked at an older post stating the machine uses a 68.6" x 1.75" belt. I went to a local belt/bearing supplier and can only get 67.4 or 69.4". Anywhere online that can help?

Frustrated with variable speed system on OMC 1200

Thanks for the reply! Because the keyway is there i cannot rotate the pulley without some major machine work (not to mention removing the crank). So i am thinking either a custom made key, or just run a chain at one speed and make the thing work.

Frustrated with variable speed system on OMC 1200

The VH4D seems to run good, and powers the lift beautifully...however i am having a heck of a time moving around. The machine will not turn without bogging down. I notice that the belt is only engaging...

Thanks for the replies, Bryan i have thought of doing something similar worst case! Nice to hear it somewhat worked out for you. A 520 motorcycle chain would be very strong for that application.

    Mustang 1200 Variable Drive Help!

First off, greetings and thanks in advance to all who read this as it is my first post. I just purchased an older (70s) OMC Mustang 1200. The hydraulic primary clutch wobbles and spews fluid very badly. I am wondering if anyone has any experience with a similar problem. If it can be rebuilt, and...
