so what size skid steers compare to the 246, in size and lift capacity? would it be like a 75xt and case 430?

ya, there alot better then the older ones but there stil a little weird. They kinda hang into the middle of the cab till u put bar down, then they sit nicely.

i've narrowed my decision between cat 246 and case 90 xt or case 4??. I'm swaying towards cat because of there easy of use, maintenance and there operator comfort.

i think they need more advertising. I'm gonna spread the work on all the other forums i'm on.

I'm looking into a couple xt models, how do there controls work? my friends has an 1840 and u just bend the joy stick for bucket and a foot pedal for there grapple.

My buddy has an 1840 with a red button like that on right controler, it's for either when he cold starts.

Ok i looked into it further and 873's are vertical lift and 863's are radial. What kind of controls do they have hand or foot? Does anyone have any pics of inside of one?

I'm interested in a couple of bobcats and am wondering what the 863's and 873's are like? The ones i'm looking at are all 1999-2001 models with 1500-2500 hours. Are these machines dependable? They appear to be vertical lift, i don't know for sure i'm rather new to the whole skid steer thing.
