Hi, I have recently rebuilt an old case 1740 in New Zealand Anybody know what hydraulic fluid I should use for an oil change. Manual say Case TCH fluid (obsolete) or alternatively auto trans fluid type "A". What is a modern equivalent? Thanks

Hi Bill could you tell me please what oil you use for hydraulics . Hydraulic oil or transmission oil? Also how tight should I tighten springs on top reaves pulley. I dont want slippage but dont want to pull too hard against lower pulley Thanks kevin
