    Bobcat S-150 fuel solenoid problem

I am trying to figure out what is wrong with a fuel solenoid and/or the circuit that powers it. This is on a bobcat S-150. I dismounted the solenoid but kept it plugged in to its electric leads. When i press the plunger in, it will not stay in even though my multi-meter says it is getting 5.5...

150 hydraulic control valve connection leaking

I noticed a pretty good stream of hydraulic oil leaking beneath my S150 and traced it back to a compression joint on the hydraulic control valve (worked by the foot pedals). The compression fitting seemed loose when I got a wrench on it, but tightening did not stop the leak. I assume there is a...

    S150 Charge Pressure Shutdown

It was the drive belt. I put in a new one, and a new idler and it is working normally. Thanks!!!

    S150 Charge Pressure Shutdown

I think you are right, but I can't get any more travel out of the idler. Does that mean I need a new drive belt? The idler feels kind of rattle-ey also, Should it be replaced? This machine has about 700 hours on it. It also spent time at the coast so was subject to corrosion issues.

    S150 Charge Pressure Shutdown

thanks for the suggestion. I just looked at it now. The tensioner wheel spins pretty easily when I work it with my fingers. It seems like it should press the belt harder. I can't see the indicator but I will clean it off tomorrow and take another look.

    S150 Charge Pressure Shutdown

thanks, I will put in a gauge to confirm. But I suspect I will find there is low pressure because when the hydraulics are working, you can tell by a change in engine sound. When the hydraulics aren't working, it almost feels like the pump is waiting for a prime. Is there some solenoid valve that...

    S150 Charge Pressure Shutdown

I am trying to troubleshoot a charge pressure problem. Warning light blinks on startup. Hydraulics are unresponsive and then safety shutdown occurs. Once in awhile on startup, the hydraulics do kick in and then operation is normal, but lately it takes too many start cycles to make this happen so...
