    Just for future reference, it turned out to be the ballast resistor, the only thing I hadn't changed. The voltage was reading about 1V too low. Runs like a champ now. Thanks everyone and have a Merry Christmas!! Jim

    Hi, Yes, I ran 12V to the + side of the coil, still nothing. Not sure what leads you are referring to? Thanks, Jim

    Hi Everyone!! Just picked up an older Mustang 345 Skid Steer. It turns over fine but is not getting any spark. I have replaced the Plugs, Coil, Cap, Rotor, Points, and Condenser. Verified the gap on the points is .025 (per the manual) and the plugs are .032. I have 12V on the + side of the coil...
