And no.....the noise does NOT change when the drive levers are moved forward or backwards. The only time is goes away is when the bucket is LIFTED.....

Sounds like it's coming from the actual filter area.....but it's so damn hard to hear exactly because of the racket of the engine! I'm going to change the filter later this week.....we'll see if that changes anything....DOUBTFUL I know......

Any other thoughts on this one......problem has yet to be found.....

Actually they replaced the hydro filter.....along with all the other filters. I don't "believe" the hydro oil was changed.....I believe just topped off.....

The filter and hydro oil was replaced this past November Bobcat....right before I took ownership.....

No codes....no lights on dash.

Not the breather.....took it off....and made no difference. With the cab up and while poking around......the hydro filter and large main line from the main drive pump has a pretty good vibration to it.....but all seem tight and no leaks, no air in oil etc. Ideas????

It "sounds" like it either has an air leak, and air somehow, somewhere is getting sucked in.....OR there is a blockage someplace, and restricting enough fluid to be moved around....thus creating the whine. The whine sounds like that high pitch sound when a hydraulic function is either "left...

It used to do it louder (or more)....after it got heated up and used for like a 1/2 hour or so. But now the whine happens right from the get go, and remains constant.

Got a 2016 S70 (only 200 hours)......and it whines as soon as you give it some decent RPM's. No leaks I can see....hydro oil is in middle of stick, unit functions as it should. The only time it DOES NOT whine is when the lift arms go UP. Ideas?????
