Dang they are PROUD of their parts! $621 plus shipping. A comparable pump is about $140 elsewhere. I guess I’m just going to have to do some measuring and find a suitable sub and maybe source a compatible pulley after all.
Thanks again flyerdan. I think I can source a reasonably close pump but the shaft diameter and length may be a problem. Can you say what the diameter of the pulley is in the event I need to replace it? Machine is at my sons place otherwise I’d just lift the cab and measure it.
Curious if this pump will work as a replacement for my worn out Cessna pump. https://www.magisterhyd.com/hydraulics-shop/product-category/gear-pumps/magister-hydraulic-gear-pumps-3-4-keyed-shaft/ Cant rebuild it and so need to source an alternate that’s within the budget.
Thanks Hotrod. I’ll check the level. I was also curious if the bypass pressure could have slipped and caused the issue. Any insight to how I can check the pressure and adjust it if it’s slipped? Thanks again!
Thanks Hotrod. I’ll check the level. I was also curious if it’s possible that the bypass pressure has slipped and wondering how to check and correct it if it’s too low.
Good morning all. Recently bought an ole Bobcat 310. Already come in handy around the house with future plans to help kids out as well. Everything works on the machine but I’ve got some projects planned to improve it over time. I’ve already benefited from help here and it’s much appreciated. Doug
So thinking more about my situation and the fact that my tilt bucket operates just fine with a full load of wet clay tells me that it’s not likely the pump otherwise it would be slow there too. So now the question is whether it’s the control valve or possibly a linkage adjustment issue? Anyone...
Thanks! Yeah I was afraid of that. I’ll find a way to get it tested. My sons a mechanic so hopefully he can give me ideas. That or drag it over to a local hydraulics shop.
Good evening bttpe. Having a similar issue with my 310. How were you able to Devine the control valve issue? With mine, it will lift but I have to keep bumping it. If I roll the bucket whil lifting it seems to actually perform a bit better which makes me think I may also have a controller issue...
Good evening all. Recently bought a new to me 310 and am reasonably happy with it but it really struggles to lift the bucket under load. So my question is, is the pump rebuildable? I’ve searched for kits but there don’t seem to be any out there. Any assistance or advice would be very much...
