    M610 variable speed valve

I have sold my 610. but I just had to move the handle and let go. It would hold whatever speed you left it at.

    Bobcat 610 Battery Group Size.

Mine has a 22nf in it. The battery posts are very close to the metal panel under the seat, so I put a sheet of rubber on the underside of the panel.

Bobcat 610 Driven Sheave/Jackshaft Bearing replacement.

I am about 1/2 hour south of Morris, Illinois. I have been in contact with the Ottawa Bobcat dealer, but their mechanic seemed to be a young kid who was unfamiliar with my machine.

Bobcat 610 Driven Sheave/Jackshaft Bearing replacement.

Thank you for responding 6brnorma. I have not been able to track down anyone to do this kind of work on an old machine in my area. I will have to try harder to find someone. This does not sound like something within my capabilities.

    Bobcat 610 oil plug location?

I can tell by looking at the oil pan picture that mine is installed backwards. I changed the oil by removing the oil fill tube and pulling out the old stuff out with the transfer pump. Thanks for everyone's help!

    Bobcat 610 oil plug location?

I found a fluid transfer pump in the garage with a dipstick tube hose included. I might try using the thing tomorrow after work. (Yes, your phone book has to be printed on Sunday, because you need it right away).????

    Bobcat 610 oil plug location?

6brnorma Yes it is a VH4D engine, what you describe is where the oil plug should be - But mine does not appear to be there.

    Bobcat 610 oil plug location?

I just bought a 610, and after it sat for a few days the oil had a gas smell to it. I put a shut off valve on the fuel line to stop that problem. Now I would like to change the oil. The problem is, I can't find the drain plug! In the manual it clearly shows it being about 4" to the right, and...
