Bobcat branded hydraulic oil used to be Mobil DTE 15M. Mobil DTE 15M is now called Mobil DTE 10 Excel 46, so maybe that little bit of info will help you out a bit.

Reaperman, you're talking about a different machine. The machine he is referring to is the S150, not the S130. So it is the replacement for the 763 non turbo machine.

Looks like we're not too far away from each other. I'm in Savona, and completely ripping apart an S150 that worked at the smelter in Trail.

I'm sure it's repairable, I just don't know if it's hiding any issues that i might miss. I'd hate to put all the effort into this thing and find I missed something in the harness, only to spend money I didn't have to, figuring it was something else.

I have, and I'm trying to find a used one to avoid the $4000 bill to buy a new one.

For what it's worth, I talked to a guy who had an older jug of the Bobcat oil, and he said it had Mobil DTE 15M on the label in small print as well. Mobil DTE 15M Has been replaced by Mobil DTE 10 Excel 46, which is an AW 46 hydraulic oil.

I appreciate the heads up, but the smelter only uses the machines for an hour or two every few days. I know it only has 1000 to 1500 hours on it. But until I pick it up, and get some power to it, I won't know what the hour meter really reads. The machines are hardly used, but never washed and...

I just bought a 2008 S150. It's in rough shape as it came out of a smelter, but it reportedly only has just over 1000 hrs on it. I pick it up next week, and then the fun begins. It apparently has electrical issues from the corrosive environment it lived in, I guess we'll see how bad it is. No...
