Hi, Thanks for the reply. It makes the most noise while under load like turning. While lifted off the ground it does not squeal. Since posting I have used it some and everything seems to be working ok. Just sounds bad. Thanks again for the help.

Hi all, I recently got a 4400 running after sitting for an unknown length of time. My current issue is loud squealing when turning either direction, Going straight there is little if any squealing. Lift arms and buckets have no squealing during operation. So far I have adjusted control linkages...

Ford industrial 4 cylinder engines are also used in ford 8n tractors. Search for points for that and they are readily available or convert to electronic ignition using using the ford 8n tractor search. Good Luck.
