I seen a few kits that come with the timing belt tension gauge. I see your idler/tension pulley is smooth. Mine has a groove dead center. Did your factory one have the groove ?

Also, from what I've read I was expecting to have to remove the security bolt to get the timing cover off but I did not so im assuming someone has been in there before unless I was mistaken on where that security bolt was. Just two 10mm bolts to remove the cover on mine
