Thanks , all three of you guys. I printed out your suggestions and it will give me some places to look. The forum doesn't seem to let me answer a post once another has posted.

I checked the solenoids according to the Deere book. They all checked bad. I think I am not checking them correctly as one I know is working. Any advice as to how you check them?

Checked all the possible shorts and found none. I did discover that the seat belt switch is still good although disconnected. As I said, the safeties have all been jumped out. Well, if anyone has any other suggestions on why I cannot release the park brake on this 260, I sure would appreciate...
