Good idea, but unfortunately we did try that also, but still it would only move very slightly and slowly. The strangest thing is that it seemed to work fine when I first hooked it all up a month ago. Thanks for this info. I bought the 1/2 flat faced couplers you mentioned from ebay, only to find that the old ones have 5/8 thread. Can I get a reducer from somewhere, or do I need to buy different couplers? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
