I was going to try that next. Anyone have an idea on disabling/disconnecting the glow plug circuit ? Is it as simple as disconnecting the wires from the glow plugs? I want to see if it stops the current draw.

Yes. It was full so I brought it to autozone after charging last night.

Had auto one test the battery and it's good. Posts are clean and so are the wires. I had just used it the day before without issues until I decided to try the same preheat function.
