There should be a rubber pad bolted to the bottom of each side of the boom where it comes down on your stops. Mine just looks like 3/8 thick rubber belting.

I have a 553 with the kubota diesel engine and i use 15w40 in the engine and any kind of hydraulic transmission oil in the chain case reservoir for the hydraulics. I get my hydraulic transmission oil from tractor supply.

I checked all the linkages and they all look pretty good, except for the on shock has about a 1/4 inch of play and the other has no play. Should i try replacing it? and where is the best place to buy?

Seems to be both sides, it doesnt seem to do it while in reverse or turning. It only does it while travelling in a straight line.
