    Metal costs....WOW!!!!

....That's funny, about the wood. Here in Maryland, off the coast of Ocean City, we trap lobsters, ship them to maine and than buy them back as Maine Lobsters!!! lol .....as far as metal to china, I guess (to me) it's better to see it recycled than rusting in a landfill.

    best attachment thread locked?

I'm not sure if or why the thread is locked, but I appreciate your response. By independent, I was thinking the operated independently......which without any additional couples, or joystick buttons, confused me. Not hard to do. lol

Skidsteer, In regards to the grapple bucket, when you say independent grapple arms.......does that mean they operate independently, I know that's sounds stupid...beings they are "Independent grapple arms"....but the reason I ask, is that my Cat only has 2 buttons on for my aux. Hydraulics....one...

    Metal costs....WOW!!!!

Triad, Yes.....I have dealt with them alot. The owner, Bill, used to work for Bobcat of Baltimore.......left and started his own company. I haven't done nothing more than rent a few attachments from them but Bill was nice to deal with. We looked at some skidsteers there before I bought mine and...

    Simple backhoe attachment

I have used them before, I believe it is called a "Stiff-arm back hoe". It works very effectively, but having to move the whole skidsteer to dump can be a pain......but, if weight is an issue with the other backhoe attachment, this will work.

Minimum requirement for pulling a 763

Providing you have the right trailer, brakes and controller, correct hitch and reciever....your truck should be fine. The only thing I'd question and you left out of your description, is if your truck were a short bed SWB, or the long bed.

not very many people ever online to answer anything!!!

Because of my love for Skidsteers (as gay as that sounds) I try to log in and read even the little posts, everyday. Great site and I'm sure the traffic will come. Google ads, I read that one person can not keep clicking on them, there IP (or something) is logged and counted as to prevent this...

    between cat and case

I have an 04 Cat 246 and I also just bought a Case 90xt. The case has about 4000 hours on it and was worked hard and very loose, but I still like it. Has a ton of power and although the controls are different, each has it's own qualities. The Case spins much better in tight spots. Doesn't matter...

    cat 262B hydrolic problem

jca, I just bought the complete repair manual for my 246 and it covers your 262 as well. If there is anything you need out of it, let know. I'll look up your problem now. Thanks, Chris
