I have a Cat 232b and cannot get an attachment to work on the external hydraulics. The roller switch on the right joystick appears to be bad. Cat told me I have to buy the entire joystick. Surely there must be a cheaper solution?

I bought a CAT 232b at an auction and cannot figure out how to make a log splitter attachment work without using the thumb wheel. I've tried pushing the button on the left joystick while rolling the wheel to the up position and continous flow will not work. Checked fuses and power at button all...
