Might sound stupid, but, check the hydraulic fluid. Had the same thing happen on my 753. Although it would not drive either. Can you hear the solenoid release?
Trying to drain hydraulic system. I've had the motor carriers out. Is it safe to say all the hydraulic oil has drained out too? My oil seals failed and emptied the hydraulic oil into chain case. Just making sure I'm not missing anything before I add clean fluid.
I am no guru like these other guys, but, I had this same thing happen and it was because I was low on hydraulic fluid. I messed with the solenoid and it did no good.
I need to buy a new drive chain for my 753. It broke with the hydraulic fluid drained into the chain case. Should I spend the money on an OEM continuous chain, or can I buy 10 feet of #80 chain and cut and splice in a master link?
got it all out. I am going to take the chains and everything else out of the chain case, fill my pump sprayer with diesel and spray all the walls and everything till it is spotless. Thanks for all the help. im sure I will have more questions.
