    Hello everyone, well I installed new O-rings on the gland and new snap rings and the variable speed works in and out very smoothly now but it will still leak back to slow speed. so I guess I will order the swivel root O-rings and have a look in there. thanks

    I agree 6brnorma, I ordered new snap rings along with the O-rings for the gland, but I did not order anything for the root assembly. thanks

    yes I will do that 6brnorma, I don't have any leaks at the sheave, do you normally rebuild the swivel itself? I see it has some mighty little parts in there. thanks
