I decided to replace the OEM sender with an aftermarket one from All Skidsteer (bottom in pic) and now I get a full indication on the fuel gage with a confirmed full tank. Amazing the 3x cost OEM sender doesn't work as well as an aftermarket one, but time will tell if this aftermarket sender lasts.
I don't want to go through another winter of freezing while plowing the driveway so I decided to add some heat.
I wanted something that is tucked away and compact so I decided to add a Maradyne Fans HF-200012-M I found new on ebay for $120 US.

They are local to me, but I would spend the money and get full synthetic from Bobcat also. Hydraulics are not cheap so why use cheap oil especially in winter?
I replaced the sender in my T250 last year with a Bobcat OEM #7286464 sender which cleared the associated error code when I purchased the skidsteer. I recall I checked the low and full by pushing the float fully up and down before installing.
I have never fully filled the tank until recently...
I found and solved the issue after pulling the spool out, yet again.
The detent adapter was not seated completely onto the washer, per attached photo. The washer was centered and I originally torqued the adapter to the 100 in-lbs manual spec but don't recall if I checked if it was correctly...
